Such an original snack of light puff pastry will be a real decoration of the New Year's table. And it's very easy to cook.

Ingredients:

puff pastry2 sheets
pesto5 tbsp.
ham100 g
hard cheese50 g
egg1 PC.
water1 tbsp.

Cooking:

  1. Roll separately 2 sheets of puff pastry. Put one sheet on a baking sheet covered with parchment and brush it with pesto in the form of a triangle with a leg. Top with ham slices and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  2. Cut the dough in the form of a Christmas tree (a triangle with a leg), leaving a free edge of 0.5 cm. Dip the edge of the dough with an egg beaten with a spoon of water, place the second sheet of dough on top, press along the edges and cut the excess.
  3. On both sides of the triangle, before reaching the middle, make incisions (these are the paws of the spruce) and twist each strip a little. Grease the Christmas tree with a beaten egg and bake in the oven preheated to 190 ° C for 15-20 minutes. If desired, decorate the Christmas tree with a star made of cheese and balls of cherry tomato halves.
