Harvest potatoes, tomatoes, peppers and beets

Store potatoes

Potatoes can be excavated when a strong peel is formed on the tubers. Dug potatoes should be sorted and filled into bags, which should stand in a dark room for 2-3 weeks. After that, the crop should be inspected, remove diseased tubers and fall asleep in the cellar for winter storage.

Work in the greenhouse

Continue to harvest tomatoes and peppers that grow in the greenhouse. Greenhouses that are free from vegetables, clean from plant residues. If possible, replace the top layer of soil with a new one.

Remove the beets

It's time to start harvesting beetroot. It is important to make it on time, before the onset of frost. Because roots, harvested out of time, can crack, and they are often affected by beet disease during storage.
