Potassium sulfate (potassium sulfate)

Potassium sulfate (potassium sulphate) is a highly effective chlorine-free potash fertilizer containing potassium, a nutrient necessary for normal growth and development of plants.

Preparative form - white granules.

Packaging - sealed plastic bags weighing 0.9 kg.

Drug benefits:

  • increases the content of sugar and vitamins in plant cells, increases resistance to various diseases, and also reduces the risk of fruit damage by gray mold;
  • ensures the viability of perennial crops after winter;
  • It is an ideal supplement for crops sensitive to chlorine content;
  • improves the circulation of fluid in plant cells, thereby ensuring an even distribution of nutrients, contributes to the rapid development of the root system, improves the condition of the green mass;
  • effectively affects plant growth, contributes to the formation of new shoots;
  • affordable, inexpensive;
  • easy to use;
  • in minimal doses does not represent harm and danger to human health.

Potassium sulfate cleared is intended for top dressing (in a dry form), and also watering by an irrigation of plants of a closed and open ground during the vegetative period.

Active substance

Macronutrients - Potassium (K2O) - 53%, sulfur (S) - 18%.

The maximum effectiveness of the tool is manifested on sandy, peaty, floodplain and red-earth soils. A positive effect will also be observed on loams and chernozems, but only if the preparation was applied to well-moistened soil. Most of all cultures need potash fertilizers during growth on calcareous areas, since the salt content in such a soil is minimal.

  • In plant tissues, the sugar level and the amount of vitamins increase, which increases the resistance of crops to diseases.
  • Perennial plants tolerate wintering better and recover faster in spring.
  • Potassium sulfate is excellent for feeding plants that are sensitive to chlorine, because increases their yield.
  • The drug stimulates the development of the root system and the growth of green mass of plants, as well as improves the transportation of nutrients from the roots to the aerial parts.

Instructions for use

When making the drug use in several ways, each of which has its own characteristics.
Dry: the drug is allowed to be applied to the ground either in early spring, before planting begins, or in the fall, during digging the site for the winter.

Liquid feeding: the most effective way, because the crystals divorced in water get to roots much quicker. Dissolve the drug in water should be in accordance with the recommendations on the package.

Spraying solution: If plants need additional feeding during the growing season, you can prepare a solution for spraying them. To do this, 35-40 g of granules are dissolved in 10 l of water, stirred until complete dissolution and spraying the green mass.

For top dressing, prepare such an amount of solution that can be used at one time, since the prepared mixture is not intended for storage.

Potassium sulfate can be used in combination with other fertilizers to increase the effectiveness of foliar dressings. It is best to supplement it with drugs based on phosphorus and nitrogen - this combination not only saturates the soil with useful substances, but also deters pests.

On acidic soils, potassium sulfate can be used together with lime: this will increase the effectiveness of fertilizer.

Security measures

Before starting work, you must wear personal protective equipment - a respirator or mask, as well as gloves. This should be done regardless of whether you use the drug in dry or dissolved form. Protective equipment should prevent liquid and toxic dust or vapors from entering the skin and mucous membranes. At the end of the work, be sure to wash your hands with soap and water.

First aid

  • With hit facilitieson the skin - wash off with soap and water;
  • at eye contact - rinse with plenty of running water;
  • at randomswallowed - drink plenty of water and cause vomiting;
  • consult a doctor if necessary.

Store in a dry, closed place, out of reach of children and animals, separately from food. The official shelf life of mineral complexes is 5 years from the date of manufacture, but the properties of the preparations remain even longer. Tracking is not observed. The prepared solution is also allowed for storage.
